Will I know who the research is for?

Sometimes, Yes

In many cases, you will be told the name of the company or organization doing the research. For example:

  • “This study is for a major electronics brand”

  • Or they may even say: “This is a study for Google/Nike/Pfizer/etc.”

This is more common in consumer product studies or public opinion research where transparency is totally fine.

Sometimes, No

Other times, the client’s identity is kept confidential — especially when:

  • The product hasn’t launched yet (they’re testing early concepts)

  • It’s a legal or political case (to avoid bias)

  • The company wants unbiased, unfiltered opinions

In those situations, you might just hear something like:

  • “A national beverage company”

  • “A global tech company”

  • “A law firm researching jury behavior”

Even though you don’t know the exact name, you’ll always know what the study is about, how long it will take, and how much you’ll earn — before you agree to participate.

Is It Safe to Participate?

Yes, absolutely! L&E Research screens all clients, and your personal information is never shared without your consent. They follow strict privacy and ethics standards, so you’re in good hands whether you know the company’s name or not.
